Diana

Born in Cardiff, in early childhood the family returned to Suffolk, initially in Barrow then Thetford. Moved to Troston in 2021.

Early career: studied for AAT at West Suffolk College, then held accounting positions, latterly Van Diemen International, Ltd, a specialised British race car manufacturer based in Snetterton. Decided to leave the 'rat race' in 2010 to concentrate on family and shortly after opened my own business - very happy working for myself running a successful online business selling self-designed handmade paper flowers along with jewellery, gifts and festive items.

Personal goals: joined Parish Council to meet people and hopefully make a difference - my goal is to maintain a comfortable work/life balance in a lovely village.

Skills and expertise that I bring to the Council team: I like to think I am an organised, practical, self-motivated and committed person. I have many years’ experience of being on committees for other organisations and for the past 15 years have been on the management committee of Great Barton village hall. Aside from that, I maintain a keen interest in the outdoors, not just gardening but also nature and conservation.
