Jackdaw Garage & Supermarket,

Opened in 1962 by George Smith, the Jackdaw Garage is located on what was originally the RAF Honington Wash Houses.

In 1986 Eve & Martin Crosby (George Smith’s daughter) bought the business from her father, expanded the garage shop into a village general store offering a great variety including dairy, meat, fruit and vegetables, canned goods, wine, beer and spirits, stationery, pet items, cleaning products, the list goes on!

Aside from Diesel fuel, there’s fuel for your home too in the form of LPG bottles, wood and kindling, even coal. In addition to the supermarket side, other services include ordering fresh vegetables and fruit on a Thursday and collect Friday or Saturday, daily Newspapers deliveries too.

The Jackdaw is a place where you can find what you need, find things that you least expect and have something ordered for you if Eve really cannot find it!
